In 2015–2017, I worked under the alias TVERD on Tumblr as an underground digital artist.
I was lucky to catch the attention of MTV producers. At the time, MTV’s style was built around bumpers, each one created by an independent internet artist. Every element of the broadcast ID rotated monthly, with a new artist taking over each time.
April 2017 was my month. It was one of the most open briefs I’ve ever worked with and a well-paid project overall. The music for the bumper was composed by my brother, Timur Simashev.
